Regional Seminar and Meetings with the VNTU Staff and Management in Vinnytsia (29.08.2024, Vinnytsia)

On 29 August 2024, the Vinnytsia National Technical University hosted a regional seminar for educational institutions in the Vinnytsia region titled Opportunities of the Erasmus+ Programme for HEIs. The seminar was conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Vinnytsia National Technical University, and the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine (NEO  –Ukraine).

In his welcoming speech, the Rector of VNTU, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Viktor BILIICHENKO, highlighted that the university has been actively participating in various Erasmus+ programmes for many years.

The seminar was attended by Yuriy BURYENNIKOV, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, International Cooperation, and Youth Policy, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor; Oleksandr PETROV, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and Organisation of the Educational Process, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor; and Irina YEPIFANOVA, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, along with deans, department heads, and lecturers from VNTU.

Additionally, the seminar brought together the leadership of HEIs in the Vinnytsia region and representatives of the local education community. Over 100 participants were registered for the event.

Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, conducted a well-informed and engaging QA session filled with practical insights and positive energy.

The opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme were also presented at the university’s Academic Council meeting, which took place the same day.

On the same day, Svitlana SHYTIKOVA met with Rector Viktoriia PETRUSHENKO and the team of Erasmus+ projects from the National Pirogov Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsya. They discussed current challenges, developments of the Erasmus+ UNICOM project, the importance of enhancing cooperation, and encouraging the university to participate in upcoming calls. Contacts of potential partners from Austria were shared for further communication and collaboration opportunities.

We are building the capacity of educational institutions in the Vinnytsia region to participate in the Erasmus+ Programme.
